How to reach
Air : Situated at a distance of 50 Km from Panaji , Arambol is one of the most charming beaches of Goa. The domestic airport Dabolim is 29 km from the capital Panaji. One can hire private taxis to reach Arambol beach.
Rail : Goa's two main stations are at Margao and Vasco da Gama. Both these stations are well connected with Belgaum, Hospet and Hyderabad and via Miraj to Bombay, Delhi and Agra.
Road : The bus service to reach Arambol is very good .These buses ply to and from Panaji to Arambol after every thirty minutes till noon and every ninety minutes thereafter. It takes 3 hours from Mapusa to reach Arambol. It takes around 40 minutes to reach Arambol from Chopdem, which is 12 km away from Arambol. Tourists can avail faster private minibus service from Panaji.
Getting around
After reaching Arambol beach, one can hire taxis or motorbikes which is cheap and comfortable way to explore local area.
Places to visit
The 16-km-long sea beach Arambol consist of two beaches .The main beach Harmal is the northernmost beach in Goa . The second beach lies beyond the rocky circlet and can be reached on foot. The beach is bordered by steep cliffs on both the sides.
It is a perfect place for those looking for peace and tranquility. The cliffs near the beaches are a major attraction for paragliding and dolphin watching boat trips. The other major attractions are:
Hot Springs
Situated close to the main beach, is the hot spring that merges into a lake. The hot spring lined with Sulphurous mud is believed to be capable of curing chronic diseases when applied over the body.
Teracol Fort
This historic monument was once a key fort of Portuguese is now converted to a low key luxury hotel. This fort was constructed for the defense of Goa on the North side of the Teracol River.
