Goa has a unique special tradition of mingling of Indian and western culture together which mostly been observed in varied culture and architecture of its towns and villages. After four centuries Portuguese rule Goa is blessed with the glorious traditions and an essence of 'Natural Harmony'. One most appealing aspect of holiday at Ancestral Goa can be the tiny fenny (local Goan drink) distillery, 'Traverena', placed inside the premise. Skills of craft - clay modeling, pottery, basket weaving, and even lighter pursuits of puppetry and vegetable carving are several practices organized for the economically backward children at the Big Foot Dance Floor during the auspicious eve of X-mass.
