Hindu Festivals :

Mahashivratri : This festival is held at all principal Shiva Temples in Goa. Mahashivratri is celebrated in the honour of Lord Shiva. Mahashivratri is celebrated in places like Harvalem, Mangueshi, Nagueshi, Brahmapuri. Shirgao, Fatorpa and Panaji.

Muslim Festivals : Units of Shah Abdullah at Ponda -17th Zilhaj (February).

Christian Festivals : January 6: Feast of the Three Kings at Reis Magos, Cuelim (Cansaulim) and Chandor.

Carnival : Goa carnivals have its own uniqueness. Goa celebrates with great eclat, Carnaval and Shigmo that is awaited by most of the population in Goa. It is celebrated with intense enthusiasm.
