Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
The Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary in Goa is located 10 km to the northeast of the Usgao Tisk village. It is located at a distance of 52 km from Panaji. The Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary in Goa extends to an area of 8 sq. km. It is one of the smallest wildlife sanctuaries in Goa with major attractions like panthers, gaurs, leopard cats, botanical garden and deer park. Initially this sanctuary was established as a refuge for the injured and orphaned animals.
The Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary comprises of moist deciduous forest that supports variety of flora and fauna. The common trees found in this sanctuary are Matti, Kindall, Jamba, Mimusops and Rosewood. The fauna found in the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary includes panthers, gaurs, jungle cats, deer, leopard cats, wild boar. Tourist can also witness some beautiful species of birds like Ruby Throated Yellow Bulbuls, Golden Backed Woodpeckers and Common Grey Hornbills.

The Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is located near to the Dabolim airport (80 km). The nearest railway station to the sanctuary is at Margao (38 Km). This sanctuary is connected to Ponda (20) by good roadways. The best time to visit the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is November to March.
